What the site is
SidewallMath is a free set of calculators and guides about what a tire size means in inches, whether a new tire size is a close match, and how it changes your speedometer, gearing and wheel fit. It is provided for general information and education.
No professional advice
Estimates from the tire size. Actual tire dimensions vary by brand and model; confirm fitment, load index and speed rating for your vehicle. Results are estimates built from the inputs you enter and from published figures that may be out of date or wrong. Do not rely on them as your only basis for a financial, tax, insurance, legal, purchasing or other decision, and consider consulting a qualified professional.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose and availability. We may change or remove tools and content at any time.
